Relaxation Therapy

How Does Massage Work?

Basic Massage techniques such as stroking, kneading, and rubbing stimulate physical and emotional healing. They stimulate physical and emotional healing by:

  • Physical therapy on the part of the body that is being massaged
  • Stimulation of the lymphatic system. (The lymphatic system carries waste products out of your body and defends your body against infection

Full Swedish Massage

Swedish massage feels good, is relaxing and invigorating. It affects the nerves, muscles, glands, and circulation, while promoting health and well being.

 

 

Sports Massage

The main purpose of sports massage therapy is to help alleviate the stress and tension which builds up in the body’s soft tissues during physical activity.

In addition to FEELING GOOD, it reduces the heart rate and blood pressure, increases blood circulation and lymph flow, reduces muscle tension, improves flexibility, and relieves pain
